The Transfer Student Program, in association with Peer Academic Services and the University Writing Center, is hosting a new conversation program called Let’s Talk!
Let’s Talk! is designed to give non-native English speakers an opportunity to practice English conversation in an informal and non-judgmental environment. Participants will be paired with a peer mentor from Peer Academic Services. The University Writing Center has been helping prepare the peer mentors.
Conversation practice will take place Monday through Friday. Appointments, which last 50 minutes, are required and can be made online.
If you are not a transfer student but still want to work on English conversation, University Writing Center consultants are always happy to help you practice. Just make a face-to-face appointment, and specify that you want to practice conversation.
