Assigning reflective writing, which asks students to think back over a particular experience, can be a great way to engage students. Or it can be a waste of everyone’s time. Learn how to make the most of reflective assignments in your courses with a new workshop from the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE). The writing center’s Executive Director Valerie Balester will lead the July 11th workshop, which will run from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lunch will be provided and will include a faculty panel discussion on the topic.
