Students hoping to improve their English fluency now have a new option at the UWC: they can sign up to participate in the Practicing Listening and Conversational English (PLACE) program, which will allow them to work on their English skills with the same consultant for up to 5 sessions.
“We know there are students at Texas A&M who are interested in improving their fluency in English,” says UWC Executive Director Valerie Balester. “And many of those students have already been booking appointments with us to work on their conversational skills. We think this new program, which will pair a student with the same consultant for several sessions, will help put students at ease and allow them to make more rapid progress.”
